Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM)
ALRM's major aim is to advance the legal interests of Aboriginal people in South Australia and to ensure that those interests and rights are protected by the law and not adversely affected by abuse or misuse of any powers under the law.
Law Society of South Australia
Provides a free on-line referral service to a solicitor/ law firm according to specific areas of law, preferred geographic location, foreign language speaking solicitors and if necessary home/hospital visits by solicitors. The online referral service can be accessed through the following link:
Legal Services Commission (LSC)
Provides clients with accessible information, advice and representation to meet their legal needs. The LSC provide a free telephone advice service (ph: 1300 366424) for preliminary information, advice and referrals. A free legal advice by appointment service is provided for areas such as family law, criminal law, migration advice, legal aid applications and debts and bankruptcy.
Women’s Legal Service
A community based legal centre providing a range of free legal services to women in South Australia. Free phone advice can be accessed by telephoning ph: 8231 8929.
